Daddy.
I waited for you,
Near the door.
To hear your stories,
New and old.
You helped me walk,
Now you’re regretting teaching me to talk.
We used to do everything together,
From tea parties to jungle adventures.
Now all we do is fight,
I’m always wrong you’re always right.
I rebel towards you,
Every night.
Even though I fuss about,
This is my way to get my feelings out.
Even though we argue,
I love you anyway.
